The Seattle Restaurant Store has pioneered a brand new approach to restaurant design by using a cutting edge solid modeling program called SolidWorks. A 3D engineering program with capabilities only restricted by imagination and the physical world, we have the capability to add far more value with things such as lighting, reflections, and custom stainless work, designed on site by our team. However for our smaller customers we know cost is an issue and offer simple health department drawings as well.

We have been able to take much of the stress and time out of our cad work so we can focus directly on the design aspect of our work. Letting our customers see in a 3D model, which is able to be fully manipulated, their restaurant before even creating the 2D drawings needed for planning and health department approvals.

Patrick Kelley is our design specialist. Having done extensive research into different design programs he proposed SolidWorks as a solution for the current 3D age. Fully rendered models are a common practice however most companies have an extreme cost and labor involved in converting to 3D. He starts with a model and works backwards, with the ease of use in the new software he is able to do this quickly and efficiently.

Having over 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry, he worked as a chef and kitchen manager to help turn around struggling restaurants in central Illinois, by improving quality of food and lowering costs in the process. Most recently he was chief steward on a 180’ fishing vessel in the arctic sea. Seeing an opportunity to help people with their own restaurants he took a job with The Seattle Restaurant Store as a sales rep and from there has been developing the design program exclusively for them.
